About John
John Cutler, partner, is a wealth advisor with William Blair’s Private Wealth Management group. He leads a team that serves a select group of ultra-high net worth families, foundations, and corporate executives. He previously was a portfolio manager at William Harris Investors, Inc., a single family office based in Chicago. During his 12-year tenure there, John managed the family's hedge fund, private equity fund, and private credit fund investments. He also oversaw numerous individual portfolios and served as a member on the firm's asset allocation committee. Before that, John worked as a financial advisor, acting as a corporate services representative and managing client portfolios.
John has an M.B.A. in marketing and finance from the NYU Stern School of Business and a B.S. in communications from Northwestern University.
John is closely involved with a select group of charitable organizations focused on inner-city youth, education, and the homeless.
