Ed is responsible for consultant relations and business development in Canada and the Eastern half of the United States. He joined William Blair & Company in 2002 after 14 years with Harris Trust/Harris Investment Management in Chicago. Ed has been actively involved in marketing institutional investment management services since beginning his career in 1982. His experience includes extensive work with equities, fixed income and hedge funds. Previously, he worked with the NBD Trust Company of Illinois and The Travelers.
