30th Annual Growth Stock Conference

In 2009, we had 182 companies present during our conference, one of the most highly regarded in the industry. Attendees had ample opportunity to meet informally with the management teams of the participating companies, as our conference lasted three days. One-on-one meetings with company managements were scheduled continuously--with more than 3,000 of those sessions taking place over the three-day conference. Attendance was excellent, with more than 1,500 participants representing company management teams, clients, and William Blair employees. We remain committed to delivering high-quality, in-depth research on a broad spectrum of growth companies.

4th Annual Emerging Growth Stock Conference

Presenting companies broadly represent our small- and midcap coverage universe as well as include new ideas outside our research universe. The conference includes formal presentations by management of about 60 companies. Nearly 90% of the primary presenters come from the highest ranks of management (chairman, chief executive officer, president, or chief operating officer)–a long-standing hallmark of our conferences. We anticipate about 600 participants at this conference.

William Blair & Company's Annual Private Equity Conference is an opportunity for private companies to present their near-term capital needs to an audience of the leading private equity and venture investors in the U.S. The conference also highlights the perspective and insights of William Blair & Company's Equity Research teams, as they lead discussions, moderate panels, and present their industry outlook to the conference participants. In recent years, the conference has hosted more than 50 companies and more than 400 investors from more than 260 private equity firms.
