Eileen Sebold is the director of national accounts-broker dealers for William Blair. Among her chief responsibilities is product placement for mutual funds, separately managed accounts, retirement business, and trust for broker dealers. In addition, a key aspect of this role is gaining access to the financial advisor networks at the firms under her purview. Eileen is an industry veteran with more than 26 years of experience. She joined the firm in 2011 to increase William Blair’s presence and market share within broker-dealer firms, including, but not limited to, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, UBS, Wells Faro, Raymond James, and Edward Jones. Before joining the firm, Eileen was an executive officer of New York Life/Mainstay Investments, where she ran the wirehouse relationship management team. Before that, Eileen spent four years at JPMorgan Asset Management, exclusively running the Merrill Lynch global strategic relationship. Eileen began her career in the industry in the corporate legal department at Alliance Bernstein, ending her 16-year tenure at the firm in the role of director of business development. She is currently a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). Education: B.A., English/history and business administration, Loyola University; MBA, banking and finance, Dowling College.
