Eileen Sebold is the director of national accounts–broker-dealers for William Blair Investment Management. Among her chief responsibilities is product placement for mutual funds, separately managed accounts, retirement business, and trust for broker-dealers. A key aspect of this role is gaining access to the financial advisor networks at the firms under her purview. Before joining William Blair in 2011 to increase its presence and market share among broker-dealer firms, including Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, UBS, Wells Fargo, Raymond James, and Edward Jones, Eileen was an executive officer of New York Life/Mainstay Investments, where she ran the wirehouse relationship management team. Before that, Eileen spent four years at JPMorgan Asset Management, exclusively running the Merrill Lynch global strategic relationship. Eileen began her career in the industry in the corporate legal department at Alliance Bernstein, ending her 16-year tenure at the firm in the role of director of business development. She is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). Eileen received a B.A. in English, history, and business administration from Loyola University and an M.B.A. in banking and finance from Dowling College.
