Barron’s Names William Blair Advisors to 2017 Top U.S. List

Barron’s magazine named William Blair advisors to its 2017 list of top U.S. financial advisors.

William Blair advisors John Cultra, Fred Fischer, Dan Grant, Louise Lane, and Tom Wilson were among the top 60 financial advisors in Illinois ranked by Barron’s in its annual state-by-state list of top U.S. advisors.

“This national recognition honors the dedication of these William Blair advisors and their teams in serving clients during a volatile year for the markets,” said John Ettelson, William Blair president and CEO. “Their diligence, experience and financial knowledge were a tremendous service to William Blair clients in providing long-term strategies and staying focused in today’s challenging investment environment.”

The seven advisors have an average tenure of 29 years in the financial industry and more than 24 years at William Blair specializing in investment strategies for individuals, families, foundations and endowments.

Barron’s rankings are based on data provided by more than 4,000 of the most productive financial advisors in the United States. Factors included in the rankings are: assets under management; revenue produced for the firm; regulatory record; quality of practice and philanthropic work.
