About Mr. Filkin
Adam Filkin joined William Blair in 2007 and is currently a managing director and head of Consumer & Retail Investment Banking. Mr. Filkin has extensive transaction experience across numerous consumer verticals including consumer products, beauty & personal care, and outdoor products.
He joined William Blair from Banc of America Securities, the investment banking arm of Bank of America. Adam spent three years at Banc of America, serving as an associate in the Consumer and Retail practice.
Prior to joining Banc of America, Adam was a manager at A.T. Kearney focusing on growth strategies and operational improvement studies for consumer and retail companies. Adam has more than 10 years of experience in working with consumer and retail companies.
He holds an M.B.A with a concentration in finance from the University of Chicago and holds a BSE in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan.
