About Steve
Steve Bowen is a wealth advisor in William Blair’s Private Wealth Management group. He has nearly 20 years of experience managing client investment portfolios for individuals, families, and institutions and endowments. Before joining William Blair, Steve worked at Kalmar Investments, Inc. and Downtown Associates, LLC, both East Coast-based investment firms, and earlier with First Analysis, LLC, a venture capital and public equity research firm located in Chicago. Steve began his career with W.W. Grainger. He received his M.B.A. from DePaul University in Chicago and a B.S. from the University of Kansas.
Steve and his wife, Marnie, are natives of Chicago’s North Shore. He serves on the board of directors for McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago and has served and is actively involved in a number of other nonprofit organizations. He is a member of Indian Hill Club in Winnetka, Illinois, and Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
