William Blair spreads the warmth this holiday season supporting coat drives across the globe.

Colleagues kicked off the season in London collecting coats for Wrap Up London, an annual event held during November.

This year the campaign collected a record 24,109 coats, pushing the total to over 102,027 since the volunteer-led effort began in 2011.

"It is powerful to see how people come together to make a difference," said Laura Coy, William Blair's director of community engagement. "William Blair is proud to play a part in spreading the warmth this holiday season."

Winter coats were collected from the public then donated to charities supporting the homeless, the elderly, refugees, children living in poverty and people fleeing domestic violence. This year the coats were distributed to more than 100 charities.

The campaign began in London the week of November 6 with a city-wide promotional effort which included dressing up London statues in winter garments.

William Blair colleagues continued London's efforts during this season of giving with coat drives in Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Boston.
