Last week we attended William Blair’s 37th Annual Growth Stock Conference in Chicago. Whilst this was our 16th such conference, we encountered several clients who had attended all 37 and plenty who had been to upward of 25, which speaks volumes for the quality of the conference as well as the companies and managements it attracts. From a macro perspective, the conference always tends to throw up a few interesting titbits and anecdotal insights from the presentations we attend; we include some of this year’s highlights in this week’s Economics Weekly.
