It was an exciting time to be in Brazil last month. Brazil right now is mid-election cycle, so there’s political stability, interest rates are being cut, and valuations in the market are at multi-year lows. It’s a nice backdrop for investors. Brazil has one of the fastest-growing aging populations in the world right now, so there’s a great deal of demand for medical products and healthcare services in the country. And companies which can offer high-quality products and services are uniquely well positioned to succeed in this market.
