About Ben

Ben Rios is a client relationship associate with William Blair’s Private Wealth Management. In this role, he is a trusted administrator who believes in a “service with a smile” approach when addressing client needs promptly, thoroughly, and accurately. His goal is to provide a seamless and positive client experience with the understanding that clients are the top priority, deserving of the highest level of service and respect. Before joining William Blair, Ben worked as a client service specialist at PNC Private Bank and J.P. Morgan.

Ben served in the U.S. Army as a chemical operations specialist and was also selected for multiple assignments, such as lead intelligence analyst while deployed overseas, unit armorer in charge of all sensitive equipment, and platoon sergeant for a specialized chemical reconnaissance platoon. He was discharged under honorable conditions in 2013. He later attended DePaul University, where he graduated with a B.S. in business administration.

Ben is a veteran advocate and created the Chicago chapter of the Military Employee Business Resource Group (MEBRG) at PNC Bank to help veterans, service members, and military families in local communities and abroad. At William Blair, he continues his veteran advocacy and is a member of the William Blair Veterans Alliance. Ben enjoys having family game nights and is an avid sports enthusiast. He lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with his wife and daughter.
