About Bob
Bob Hill, vice president, is a wealth advisor in William Blair’s Private Wealth Management group. He joined William Blair from Wells Fargo Advisors. His career in the financial services industry began with Paine, Webber, Jackson and Curtis. After 10 years with Paine Webber, Bob inherited an agricultural processing business in Oklahoma and Texas. Over the next nine years, he acquired an additional four companies, expanded, and sold the business. Bob then became a founding partner of the mutual fund company California Investment Trust, now named Shelton Funds. He sold his interest in 1999 and returned to his true business love, the stock markets. His passion for the markets, combined with his aim to provide clients the most positive service experience, drew him to William Blair and its client-centric culture.
