About Matt
Matt Giunta, managing director, private shares team, joined William Blair in November 2022 and prior to was most recently at Forge Global as senior director on the institutional team. During this time, Matt helped facilitate private transactions in issuers across multiple sectors, including SaaS, consumer, and fintech, helping investors and shareholders transact in an otherwise illiquid asset. His transactional experience encompasses a broad spectrum of issuer lifecycles—from series B through an exit. Before Forge, Matt worked at BlackRock in the institutional cash/short-term fixed-income sales team, and at JPMorgan in the private bank’s investor team. Since 2014, Matt has been working with private companies, private shareholders, and investors.
He graduated with a major in finance from the University of Delaware in 2012 and resides in West Orange, New Jersey, with his wife and two sons.
