John Cultra spent his first ten years at William Blair as a research analyst. He was responsible for generating equity investment ideas consistent with William Blair’s quality growth philosophy, focusing on technology, business services, industrial, and financial service companies. He was also responsible for the ongoing research of these companies to track their performance and determine their fit within client portfolios.
John transitioned to a portfolio management role, working with a select number of families and institutions to meet their wealth advisory and investment management needs. John is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
In 2019, the Cultra Wealth Management Group was named a Top 50 Private Wealth Advisory Team by Barron's in its first-ever team rankings.1
John joined William Blair in 1996.
