About Laura-Min
Laura-Min Proctor, partner, is a wealth advisor with the 1935 Wealth Management Team. She works with a select number of family office level clients on traditional investments, trust and estate planning, lending, and philanthropy. She also advises interested clients on impact investing. Over the last 12 years, she has had the privilege to steward nearly $2 billion of assets invested with impact. She co-leads William Blair’s cross-functional working group to advance the firm's ESG initiatives. She is also the co-chair of the Community Impact Steering Committee, which facilitates the William Blair Foundation grant-making. Before joining William Blair in 2016, she spent eight years with J.P. Morgan Private Bank as an investment specialist and advisor. Laura-Min helped start Center for Independent Futures, a not-for-profit organization that supports individuals with disabilities. She currently serves on the Board of Directors and Investment Committees of the Evanston Community Foundation and Youth and Opportunity United (Y.O.U.). She lives in Evanston with her husband and two young children, and when time permits she enjoys traveling, exercising, cooking, and daydreaming about getting back to being a pilot on a regular basis.
