Mitchell Whiteman is a managing director and wealth advisor with William Blair’s Private Wealth Management group. He works with clients pursuant to their investment and planning needs. Before joining William Blair, Mitchell was a partner with Brown Advisory Securities, LLC and worked in the private client group at Morgan Stanley in Baltimore and the corporate and investment banking group at Banc of America Securities in New York. Before joining the financial services industry, Mitchell was a financial journalist and interviewed numerous global business leaders during his tenure.
Mitchell is a current or former board member of Kipp Baltimore, The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, and Maryland CAN; vice chair of the Jewish Community Investment Fund, Baltimore; trustee of the Gilman School; Enterprise Club member, American Enterprise Institute; advisory board member, Wexner Heritage Program; and member of the Eliot Society, Washington University.
He received his B.S.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.
