About Terrance
Terrance McBride works on William Blair’s Pre-Liquidity Planning team as a dedicated financial planning resource for founders and shareholders approaching liquidity events. In this role, he helps clients enhance their tax efficiency around a transaction while developing strategies aligned with their long-term goals for retirement and estate planning. He also helps identify and engage founders who may be approaching liquidity events, providing guidance and planning support ahead of major wealth-creating transactions.
Before joining William Blair, Terrance earned his master’s degree in global affairs at Rice University and served as a graduate assistant basketball coach. He has a B.S. from Cornell University and played for the Cornell Big Red. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing basketball, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
