About Dan
Dan Zelazny, partner, is head of the strategic accounts team at William Blair Investment Management. He leads management and business development efforts across bank/trust, sub-advisory, insurance, broker-dealer, wirehouse, and retirement platforms. Before joining the firm in 2019, Dan was a managing director in the retirement solutions group at AQR Capital Management, leading the creation and build‑out of subadvisory and retirement initiatives. Previously, he spent 13 years at Neuberger Berman in a variety of distribution and management roles. Before that, Dan was an analyst at Mercer Investment Consulting in Chicago. He is actively involved in several industry organizations, including the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) and Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA). Dan received a B.S. in finance from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
