About Jorge
Jorge Velásquez is head of Latin America distribution at William Blair Investment Management. In this role, he is responsible for expanding the William Blair brand throughout Latin America. Before joining the firm in 2025, Jorge was head of Latin America institutional distribution at Credit Suisse Asset Management from 2016 to 2024. Before that, he served as head of institutional clients at LarrainVial Asset Management. Jorge received a B.S. in business administration, with a concentration in economics and finance, from Universidad Gabriela Mistral and an M.B.A. from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.
