About Lih-Yann
Lih-Yann Tan, CFA, is CEO of William Blair International Private Limited Singapore and head of Asian distribution. She is spearheading the firm's Asian business development strategy. Her regional client base includes sovereign wealth funds, central banks, pension funds, insurance companies, endowment funds, financial institutions, and family offices. Before joining the firm in 2021, Lih-Yann spent more than a decade as head of institutional business development for Asia (ex-Japan) at NN Investment Partners, leading a team that developed institutional business and managed client and consultant relationships across Asia‑Pacific (ex‑Japan) and the Middle East. She previously held senior client-facing roles with DBS Asset Management (now Nikko Asset Management) and Lion Global Investors (part of OCBC Group). Lih-Yann received a B.Bus. in financial analysis, with honors, from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
