About Ramon
Ramon Gonzalez, CFA, is an institutional business development representative at William Blair Investment Management. He focuses on cultivating strategic institutional client partnerships across the Western U.S. region. Before joining the firm in 2019, Ramon was vice president at Wilshire Associates, spearheading the firm’s global equity manager research efforts. He has industry experience as a financial analyst, economist, and investment consultant, advising a diverse array of clients across the public and private sectors. Previously, Ramon held roles at Goldman Sachs, the Milken Institute, and Angeles Investments. He serves on the board of directors for the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE), a non-profit organization focused on professional development for investment management sales executives. Ramon is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society San Diego. He holds FINRA series 7 and 63 securities licenses. Ramon also studied at l'Université de Toulouse and l’Institut d’études politiques (Sciences Po) in Toulouse, France. He received a B.A. in international economics and French from the UCLA.
