About Tom
Tom Ross, partner, is head of international distribution for William Blair Investment Management. In this role, he is responsible for business development and client relationship management outside of North America. Tom is also a member of Investment Management's leadership team and the William Blair extended leadership group, and a director of the William Blair SICAV. Before joining William Blair in 2007, Tom spent seven years as a managing director at bfinance International, where he was responsible for developing, internationalizing, and leading the firm's investment management consulting services. Before that, he was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he advised companies in the financial, consumer, and energy sectors on strategy, organizational change, and mergers and acquisitions. Tom received a B.A. from the University of Manchester and an M.B.A. from INSEAD.
