Alex Fernberger, managing director, is a wealth advisor with William Blair Private Wealth Management. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry to help individuals, families, and businesses pursue their short- and long-term goals.

Alex places a high importance on developing meaningful long-term relationships with his clients. In doing so, he gains clarity about their financial situation and helps them pursue financial independence through comprehensive planning and a disciplined investment approach.

Before joining William Blair, Alex was with Raymond James and earlier with Merrill Lynch. While at Raymond James, Alex was named to Forbes Magazine’s “Best-in-State Next Gen Wealth Advisors” in 2022 and 2023.¹ He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Drexel University’s LeBow College and graduated from Germantown Friends School.

Alex makes his home in Philadelphia with his wife and their two daughters. He enjoys cooking, playing sports, scuba diving, and volunteering with the PAWs organization.
