About Brian
Brian Gilmore, vice president, is a wealth advisor with William Blair’s Private Wealth Management. His first priority is to help clients and their families achieve their financial goals. Through a dynamic discovery process, Brian comes to an understanding of his clients’ investment needs within the context of their comprehensive wealth situation. He then builds, implements, and monitors investment strategies and solutions to meet those needs. Brian’s ultimate goal is to give clients and their families peace of mind knowing that the critical elements of their financial life are being carefully executed.
Before joining William Blair, Brian worked at PNC for nearly 20 years in multiple roles with PNC Wealth Management, PNC Private Client Group, and PNC Investments.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Brian has served as a financial literacy instructor at Walter Payton College Preparatory High School in Chicago. He is an avid musician and enjoys cooking, fishing, and playing basketball in his spare time. Brian is also an automotive enthusiast and an active member of the Porsche Club of America’s Chicago chapter. He lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with his wife, daughter, and dogs.
