About Clancy
Clancy Burson is the lead taxable fixed income trader for Private Wealth Management at William Blair and serves on its structured products team. In this role, he develops taxable fixed income investment ideas in collaboration with William Blair wealth advisors and their clients, both individuals and institutions with highly complex balance sheets. With more than twenty-five years experience at William Blair, he has deep expertise in trading and knowledge of treasury, agency, and mortgage-backed security bonds (MBS), CDs, and investment grade and high-yield corporate bonds.
Before joining William Blair, Clancy managed MBS responsibilities at Boettcher & Company and at First Union/Kemper Securities.
