About Joe
Joseph McMullen, vice president, is a wealth advisor with William Blair & Company. He has more than 20 years of experience as an investment professional. Joe builds and monitors portfolios for his clients to reflect their goals, time horizon, and risk tolerance.
Before joining William Blair, Joe worked at BankersTrust Alex Brown and Piper Jaffray. He is a former army officer whose service as a captain in the 1st Cavalry Division includes awards in El Salvador in 1986-1987 and ratings in five aircraft. He holds his FAA commercial instrument rotorcraft pilot certificate and belongs to the Experimental Aircraft Association. Joe is a distinguished military graduate of Davidson College where he played varsity football.
Joe, a native of North Carolina, has lived in Park Ridge with his family for many years. He is an ultra long-distance runner and avid reader.
