Art Paterson is a wealth advisor in William Blair’s Private Wealth Management group and has more than 16 years of experience in the financial services industry. He specializes in helping his clients analyze the financial impact of life’s transitions, such as the sale of a business, a merger or acquisition, a new job or retirement. Before joining William Blair in 2017, Art was a first vice president in Global Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch, where he spent 14 years.
Art graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in marketing and is originally from Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Some of his hobbies include playing golf and competing in Ironman triathlons. He resides in Westfield, New Jersey, with his wife, Stacie, and children, Jack, Ryan, Nicholas, and Emma.
