Daniel Grant has more than 25 years of experience in the high-net-worth and
institutional equity arena. He joined William Blair’s Private Wealth Management
group in 1995 and is a partner of the firm. Dan serves as the trusted advisor and leads
a team providing multifamily office services for a select group of high-net-worth
entrepreneurs, private investors, families, and foundations on all aspects of wealth
management. He began his career on Wall Street in 1986 at Salomon Brothers, where
he covered institutional equity accounts and later transitioned to Salomon’s Private
Client Group. Dan graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in economics
and an M.B.A. with an emphasis on finance. Dan was named to Barron's Top State-by-State Advisors
in America in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 1 and was recognized by Forbes on its Best-in-State Advisor list in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 2. Dan is on the board of directors at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center.
