Linda Sutkin is a managing director and wealth advisor with William Blair’s Wealth Management group in New York City. Linda partners with Jill Arkwright Harvey and Richard Arkwright as the Sutkin Arkwright Harvey Group. The team, which led William Blair’s Private Wealth Management expansion into New York City, has deep cross-generational experience in wide-ranging areas of finance and is dedicated to excellence in the customized investment strategies it provides to individuals, families, not-for-profits, foundations, and endowments.
Linda and her team combine decades of investment experience with William Blair’s acclaimed equity research and vast financial planning resources to deliver a superior customer experience with proven results. With communication as the foundation of the team’s process, its priority is to truly understand its clients’ needs and risk tolerance, a critical step in helping clients achieve their unique goals within their total financial picture.
Linda began her career at Merrill Lynch and subsequently served as managing director and portfolio manager at Carret Asset Management from 1990 through 2009.
Since 1999, Linda has served on the board of advisors of the David and Lura Lovell Foundation, which funds programs and initiatives in mental health, integrative health and wellness, youth access to the arts, and gender parity. In addition, Linda is an active participant in William Blair’s mentoring program. Linda is a cum laude graduate of The City University of New York at Queens College, where she earned her degree in art history. She is the mother of two young men and lives in New York.
