Nikolay Djibankov is a wealth advisor and founder of The Matterhorn Group with William Blair’s Private Wealth Management. He joined the firm from Morgan Stanley and before that worked at the Goldman Sachs Family Office and KPMG. He has been in the industry since 2005.
He co-manages two actively managed proprietary investment mandates for investors seeking both financial and social returns: Gender Parity Strategy (a gender lens equity model) and the Matterhorn/Refinitiv Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, which analyzes 24 metrics related to diversity issues. He further oversees complete client-values-oriented portfolios: one based on ESG investments, one taking aim to bring about racial justice.
Nikolay is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (not in public practice). He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), the CFA® Institute, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and 2020 Women on Boards.
A native of Bulgaria, Nikolay graduated from Université Paris VIII Vincennes in Paris, France, with a Maîtrise en science économiques and from Baruch College in New York City with an M.B.A. in accountancy.
