About Bob
Bob Fix, partner and wealth advisor at William Blair, leads the Fix Team in the firm’s Private Wealth Management group. He joined William Blair in 1970 and has been a partner since 1977.
Bob uses the strength and vast resources of William Blair to help his clients build and preserve their wealth. Firm in his belief that William Blair’s core competency is identifying solid and proven investment opportunities, he uses the firm’s proprietary equity research, alternative investment platform, and open-architecture approach to construct high-quality portfolios customized to suit his clients’ individual financial objectives.
Bob has dedicated his entire career to William Blair and his clients. To this day, he works with some of the original clients he brought to William Blair in 1970, a testament to the depth of his investment experience and his commitment to client service.
Bob lives in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood with his wife and dogs and enjoys spending his weekends reading and relaxing at their Michigan home.
