I recently attended a client event in Chicago, where I spoke about our research process within large-cap growth to identify structurally advantaged industries and companies. The salvage auto auction space is an example of an industry where we find opportunity for long-term secular growth. Due to the increasing complexity of cars on the road, every accident now requires more parts and more labor hours per repair, with inflation further driving the increase in costs. Thus, the volume of cars directed to the salvage auto auction is increasing at a rate above miles driven.
