I recently did a research trip in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Both impressed me as the pioneers and established leaders of the Gulf region’s transformation story. From the world’s tallest building, the magnificent Burg Khalifa, to one of the world’s largest luxury shopping malls, the bustling Dubai Mall, and to the modern central business district (CBD) of Abu Dhabi, it’s clear to me that Dubai has established itself as an international tourist center and a regional financial center, and Abu Dhabi is catching up. United Arab Emirates (UAE) has led the Gulf region’s economic growth and social transformation journey and continues to plow ahead with higher and bigger goals.
