William Blair earned a perfect score of 100 on the 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmark survey and report that measures corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality, released on January 27 by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is the educational arm of America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for LGBTQ+ people.
William Blair joins the ranks of a record 842 U.S. businesses that earned a top score. CEI is a tool individuals and companies use to assess where they want to work, shop, or invest.
This year's CEI reflects growth across every measurement category, from the adoption of inclusive non-discrimination policies, to equitable healthcare benefits for transgender employees, the foundation says. In 2002, the first year of the CEI, only 13 companies achieved a top score.
