William Blair research analyst Jed Dorsheimer joined CNBC’s “Money Movers” program to lay out what he called a “five pillar” plan for U.S. energy abundance and noting that the increasing cost of electricity is causing “pain at the plug.”

“The first pillar,” Dorsheimer said, “is to build firm, base-level power.”
