William Blair biotech equity capital markets managing director Kevin Eisele was quoted in Endpoints News, where he discussed how other players outside traditional big pharma acquirers are getting involved in M&A activity in the sector.

“Compared to the larger pharma players, many of these groups have more flexibility around assets that fit highly specific therapeutic or geographic priorities as well as lower peak sales requirements that are still meaningful to the organization,” he said.
