William Blair was among the most charitable companies in Massachusetts, released in the Boston Business Journal’s 2025 Corporate Citizenship Awards. This is the fifth time William Blair has received the award.
The annual list honors 99 companies in the state who gave a combined $416 million in contributions to nonprofit organizations in 2024. This year’s honorees included companies from industry sectors, such as financial and professional services, healthcare, technology, retail, and professional sports.
"This recognition reflects William Blair’s commitment to empowering our colleagues to create meaningful impact in the communities in which we live and work,” said Nancy Bonges, William Blair’s director of community engagement.
Colleagues in William Blair’s Boston office volunteered their time and supported various charities in 2024, including Enroot, an organization supporting after-school and summer programs for students, and Generation Citizen, which delivers a community-based civic education in school districts.
"Our Boston office is honored to be recognized by the Boston Business Journal,” said C.J. Young, a partner, wealth advisor with William Blair’s Boston Wealth Management team, and member of the firm’s Global Community Impact Steering Committee. “Being actively engaged in our community is not only part of our firm’s mission, but it’s also a core tenet in our office. We take great pride in supporting our community’s organizations.”
William Blair will be among the companies recognized at the Boston Business Journal’s annual Corporate Citizen Awards on September 10.
