William Blair today kicked off its 46th Annual Growth Stock Conference, convening companies and institutional investors from around the globe for three days of presentations and one-on-one meetings.
The conference is a core forum for connecting investors with company management teams across William Blair’s research platform, with companies spanning the market-cap spectrum across seven sectors: consumer; energy and power technologies; financial services and technology; global services; healthcare; industrials; and technology, media, and communications.
“The caliber of executive access and the breadth of sectors represented are what continue to define this conference,” said Scott McLaughlin, head of equities at William Blair. “That access helps our clients better understand how companies are navigating the current environment.”
In addition to formal presentations by company management teams, predominantly senior leadership including chief executive officers, chief financial officers, and other C-suite executives, the conference will facilitate a robust schedule of one-on-one meetings between investors and management teams.
“This conference brings together companies across our coverage universe and gives investors the opportunity to engage directly with management teams,” said John Kreger, director of equity research at William Blair. “It reflects the work our analysts are doing to stay close to companies and to track the sector-specific trends shaping the market.”
