About Dan
Dan Finnegan is the director of finance for William Blair Investment Management. In this role, he provides strategic direction and oversight across financial planning, pricing, compensation, and vendor management.
Before assuming this role in November 2017, Dan had been the head of business and financial analysis for Investment Management since April 2006. Dan has also held other roles in business analytics and fund accounting since joining the firm.
Before joining William Blair in 2000, he was an audit manager at Woods and Dwyer, PLC. Dan serves on the Metropolitan Family Services Metro Board. Dan is member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago and is a registered CPA in Illinois. He received a B.B.A. in finance and accounting from the University of Arizona.
