Barron’s Ranks 12 William Blair Advisors Top in State

Barron’s magazine named 12 William Blair advisors to its 2021 top-in-state list released on March 13.

This is the first year Steve Jesanis (Chicago), Brian Marshall (Chicago), Carlette McMullan (Chicago), Jackie Moss (Chicago), Phil Rauch (Baltimore), and Craig Savage (Atlanta) were ranked by Barron’s.

Advisors John Cultra, Steve Elkins, Bob Fix, Dan Grant, Louise Lane, and Tom Wilson, all based in Chicago, have made the top list previous years.

Honorees were among the top advisors from Illinois, Maryland, and Georgia.

“We are proud to see the growing number of William Blair wealth advisors recognized as top in their states,” said Ryan DeVore, global head of William Blair’s Private Wealth Management group. “This honor underscores the dedication and expertise William Blair advisors and their teams bring to clients, especially valuable as our wealth services continue to expand across the nation.”

Barron’s top state advisor rankings are based on several factors, including assets under management and the quality of the advisors’ practices.

The 12 advisors have an average tenure of three decades in financial services and 24 years at William Blair, serving individuals, families, organizations, and foundations to help them achieve their investment goals, strengthen family legacies, and endow their clients’ charitable activities.
